La Revue du Vin de France: 2015 En Primeur Review

May 19th, 2016 @ 04:31pm Jonathan Maltus En Primeur 2015, EnPrimeur

May Edition 2016 on Bordeaux 2015

BORDEAUX -  La grande année ! 2015, Millésime d’exception

I believe this is the first time that we’ve featured in this publication, which is, perhaps, the most prestigious in France. LE DOME ranks at the top of Saint Emilion with only four other wines ahead – CHATEAUX AUSONE, CHEVAL BLANC, LA GAFFELIERE and CLOS FOURTET - J.M.

LE DOME, Saint Emilion Grand Cru, 2015

18-18,5/20

80% Cabernet Franc is the originality of this ex-garage wine which in recent vintages has reached a brilliant classicism. The vineyard is next to L’Angelus vineyard. The 2015 is extremely intense, extra-silky and already express subtil aromas, a great finesse in the texture and an extraordinary intensity of flavours.

La Revue du Vin de France readers are urged to buy it ‘en priorité’. Please do!
